The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) has recently announced some exciting updates to their 2024 tournament schedule. As the popularity of pickleball continues to grow, the PPA is committed to providing players and fans with the best possible experience. Here are some of the key updates per their recent press release.
Schedule Changes
The PPA has made a few key updates to their tournament schedule for 2024 . Recent changes include:
- The Stratusphere Gin Virginia Beach Open is moving from the week of March 18 to the week of Sept. 30. According to the release, moving the dates will allow the facility (Pickleball Virginia Beach) to finish its renovations ahead of the tournament.
- The Cincinnati Open—one of four Slams scheduled for this year—will now be played at Life Time Peachtree Corners in Atlanta because of renovations to the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
